Creative Teaching Press publishes a wide variety of products for grades PreK–8, including teacher resource books, bulletin boards, borders, emergent readers, and charts. We are always interested in reviewing new ideas developed by teachers!
If you have a proposal or manuscript you would like us to review, please submit the following:
Cover Letter
Prepare a brief description of the material you are asking us to consider for publication (including grade level) and a synopsis of your background as an educator. Your idea is more likely to be considered if you have identified a specific need in the educational marketplace and an explanation of how it is unique or different from the competition.
Manuscript or Product Idea
Please include a summary of your material, a Table of Contents, and at least one chapter. If you have an idea that is not fully developed, we would be happy to review an outline and a representative sampling of your work. However, material that is fully developed and classroom-tested is more likely to capture our attention.
Self-addressed, Stamped Envelope
Please include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage. This allows us to easily return your ideas if they do not fit our publishing plans. (We are not responsible for lost submissions).
Submission Form
Please print out, complete, and return the submission form.
Please forward all submissions to:
Creative Teaching Press
Attn: Idea Submissions

We will make every effort to acknowledge receipt of your materials. However, our current publishing commitments prevent us from being able to immediately evaluate submissions when they arrive. The review process can take several months. We appreciate your patience.
Should we decide to publish your material, we will contact you with a contract offer. After we purchase your ideas, we will assume all development and production expenses. The finished product will be advertised in our catalog and on our website. It will also be marketed through our existing network of 2,000 teacher supply stores across the country.
Our future success depends upon the strength and quality of our partnership with educators. We are delighted to welcome new authors to our publishing team.
We hope to hear from you.
