How can I be removed from the mailing list?

Making a Purchase
What credit cards do you accept?

Creative Teaching Press accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Please Note: Credit cards will be charged in full when the order is placed. This includes any backordered items. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service.
How do I know that my order went through?

Your order will be listed in the orders area of My Account upon checkout. You will also receive an email confirmation from CTP to the email address that is tied to your online account.
I placed an order online, but I want to cancel it. How can I do that?

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled.

Can I pay by check or money order?

Yes, if you are placing an order from the U.S. or Canada, we accept checks and money orders (in U.S. Dollars). For orders shipping to Canada, contact us for the shipping charge. Please provide the following information with your payment:

  • Item numbers and product descriptions
  • Quantities
  • Your shipping address
  • A daytime phone number and email (in case we have a question about your order)

Can I pay with a school purchase order?

Creative Teaching Press cannot accept purchase order payments over the phone or through our website.

Does CTP accept international or military orders?

Creative Teaching Press accepts orders from the United States and its territories, as well as military orders. Contact us if you would like to place an order from Canada.

Military Orders sent to APO or FPO addresses will be sent Parcel Post.

What is the sales tax?

We collect sales tax* based upon the “ship to” address. If you are shipping to one of the following states, sales tax will be added to your order (excluding shipping charges, where applicable):

  • California (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Connecticut (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Georgia
  • Illinois (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Kentucky (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Maryland (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Michigan (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Texas (shipping/freight charges are taxable)
  • Washington (shipping/freight charges are taxable)

If you are from one of the states listed above and are eligible for sales tax exemption, please fax or mail your Sales Tax Exemption Certificate with Tax ID number in with your order to CTP.

Can I place a tax-exempt order on your website?

Tax-exempt orders cannot be placed online. Additionally, we cannot credit taxes from online orders. Please fax or mail your Sales Tax Exemption Certificate with Tax ID number in with your order to CTP.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! CTP offers e-gift cards in 10 set values. CTP gift cards are sent electronically to the purchasers email address and can be redeemed immediately on any future order on creativeteaching.com.

Gift cards do not expire and can be used for partial payment (if the checkout total is more than the gift card value) or full payment (if the checkout total is less than the gift card value). They can also be used multiple times if there is a remaining balance.

Can I buy a CTP gift card as a gift for someone else?

CTP gift cards are sent electronically only to the email on the account used for purchase. If you want to send it to someone else as a gift, you may forward the gift card email along to another recipient.
What are the restrictions for CTP gift cards?
  • Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards on creativeteaching.com
  • Discount codes cannot be used on the purchase of a gift card
  • Gift card redemption codes that are sent through email cannot be retrieved if they are lost
  • Purchases of gift cards are non-refundable and gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash

Shipping and Receiving Your Order
What are my shipping charges?

CTP's domestic and international shipping and handling rates are based on the total weight of the shipment (including packaging materials). You will see your order's shipping total before submitting the order for processing.

Please Note: Shipping rates are subject to change at any time. If your order is returned to CTP due to a school or building closure, you may be assessed additional shipping charges.

Customs Policy:
Your country's Customs Department may apply additional customs charges, duties, and other fees for importation into your country. These charges are not created by or paid to Creative Teaching Press and are the sole responsibility of the customer. No refunds will be issued for customers refusing delivery on orders due to customs charges. If you do not want to be responsible for these charges, use our find a store tool to find a school supply store in your area.
Does CTP offer express delivery?

When should I expect to receive my order?

Typical Delivery Times:
Domestic Orders: Allow 7 – 14 business days for standard delivery.

Once your order is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a tracking number in an email. This tracking number will also be available in My Account
An item I ordered is on back order. When will I receive it?

Backorders on Credit Card Orders will be canceled.

For backorders on orders placed with a PO please contact customer service

Please Note: On international orders, back ordered items may be canceled. You will only be charged for the items shipped.

Returns and Exchanges

What is your Return Policy?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If for any reason you are not fully pleased with any product you purchased from Creative Teaching Press, please notify us within 30 days, and we will replace your merchandise or refund your money, less shipping and handling.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping
  • Enclose the original packing slip with returned merchandise

What if I receive a damaged package or defective/missing items?

Call Customer Service at (800) 287-8879/+1-714-895-5047, Mon - Fri, 7:30AM - 4:30PM PST. Please have your packing slip available.

Tip: If possible, sign for the package as “damaged upon receipt” from the courier.
