5 Ways to Decorate Doors!

5 Ways to Decorate Doors!

Have you ever walked into your room and thought, "What if I added color and decor to the door?" Teachers often decorate every wall and corner of their space, but overlook another part of the room that can be decorated... the door!

The first thing students will see when walking up to the classroom is the door, which is what makes it such a great spot to add some decor! You can decorate doors in any learning space, check out these doors we've decorated for tips and tricks to make the space your own!

1.  Farm Friends

For this Farm Friends door, we wanted  tocreate a cow print design since the door was already black. Starting out with white paper, we cut holes to recreate the look of the cow. And of course, no door is complete without borders around the edges. Add some 3D Pop butterflies along the outside for a full farm look!

2. Mystical Magical

A magical door awaits your space with this Mystical Magical set up! This time we added a pop of color with paper on the door first, then layered 3 different borders around the edges of the door. We then topped it off with some star cut-outs and a magical phrase to inspire students daily!

3.  Woodland Friends

With this Woodland Friends door, we went the more minimal route since the brown color of the door matched the rustic decor of Woodland Friends. No door is complete without borders though! We added the loop-de-loop border along the edge of the door, and the woodland friends border along the outside of the door frame. We also added posters and banners on the sides for more friendly faces in the room!

4. Periodically Perfect

Gear up for this Periodically Perfect door! We also used the color of the door for this space and added rustic wood letters to spell out the "SCIENCE" on the door. We added the doodle dots on black border for a subtle pop of color along the edge of the door. Of course this design can be recreated for any subject or theme!

5. So Much Pun!

We had So Much Pun with this collection that we decorated both the front AND back of the door! We love donuts so the front of the door is covered in donut cut-outs and donut borders! We started with a white paper background and also added some loop-de-loop border along the edge. Can't forget the motivational phrase to get students inspired! The back of the door adds more pop of color with a class rules and schedule chart for the kiddos to reference throughout the day. This design is functional and fun!
