POPULAR SCHOOLGIRL STYLE BLOGGER, MELANIE RALBUSKY, JOINS
Creative Teaching Press AS CREATIVE CONSULTANT
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., September 26, 2012—Leading supplemental educational publisher, Creative Teaching Press®, announces today it has hired popular Schoolgirl Style blogger, Melanie Ralbusky as its new Creative Consultant. Ralbusky, an award-winning blogger and former teacher will be the voice of her newly-launched blog, www.inspiredinstyle.com. In addition to providing creative ideas and inspiration to educators, crafters, and parents through Inspired In Style, Ralbusky will make appearances at educational conferences conducting workshops and presentations on behalf of CTP.
“From the beginning of my teaching career, I have loved the products from Creative Teaching Press,” said Ralbusky. “I could sit for hours looking through their catalogs circling what I planned to purchase for the upcoming school year…you might say I was a little obsessed.” Ralbusky said.
Not only has Ralbusky’s Schoolgirl Style blog garnered thousands of dedicated followers, but her social media sites seem to grow in followers exponentially each week. Creative Teaching Press noticed a remarkable spike in the demand for its 2012 Back-to-School catalog which featured Ralbusky’s handiwork in a series of designer classroom décor photos. In July, those same classroom décor photos were posted on CTP’s social media sites, generating a viral buzz and drawing in tons of frenzied followers on Facebook and Pinterest who were eager for more. One Schoolgirl Style blog fan recently wrote to Ralbusky saying “teachers need you for inspiration”. Ralbusky’s fan base ranges from teachers around the world, parents, fellow bloggers, and people in the crafting, event planning, and publishing industries.
Melanie has not only inspired thousands of teachers and parents, but Creative Teaching Press® as well. “When I saw the Schoolgirl Style blog and Melanie’s amazingly creative style and eye for what teachers love, I knew we had to have Melanie a part of our team," said Brandi West, Creative Teaching Press® Marketing Manager. “Melanie perfectly blends her creative talent, experience in the classroom and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver just what teachers love,” West added.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement and a Master’s Degree in The Art of Teaching, Ralbusky believes that classrooms and teaching methods should reflect the teacher’s personality as an individual and as an instructor. She also believes that it is important to create a learning environment where children feel celebrated and enjoy coming to school each day. Ralbusky is excited to offer classroom decorating inspiration and tips to teachers everywhere. Ralbusky will join Creative Teaching Press® in booth #1004, at the upcoming NAEYC Annual Conference & Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, November 7 – 10.
